About

I’m a programmer from Melbourne, Australia. I work mainly with C# and ASP.NET, because that’s how I get paid. I also dabble in Ruby and Rails. I run Windows XP at work because I have to, and Ubuntu at home, because I can.
I also sing, mostly classical stuff, with the odd bit of jazz to keep things interesting. I used to play bassoon and piano, but they’ve dropped off a bit in recent times.
As a listener, I have a special place in my heart for Verdi, Faure, Prokofiev and Chopin as well as Dave Brubeck and The Cat Empire.

Everything on this blog is reposted on my Tumblr, as is a lot of other stuff I link to or otherwise choose to share. It may be of interest to you.

There is also a disclaimer: There is nothing new under the sun. Everything on this site has probably been said before, and will probably be said again.
